According to http://www.irrsupply.com/btu.htm butane has only slightly
fewer BTUs per pound than propane (21,300 vs. 21,600).
http://www.altenergy.com/PDF%20Files/PropDataPdf.PDF gives slightly
different figures, but substantially agrees.
http://www.geocities.com/n2oinjection/page10.htm says that alcohol has
9,000 or 9,500 BTU per pound.
The cans don't explode when left in the bag in the sun, but they do get
rusty after awhile.
