[Alberg30] Hull/deck joint.

I lost a piece of toerail last year which exposed a length of the hull/deck joint.I thought the bonding of the two parts was by pop rivet with the toe rail screwed ,not bolted,to the flange.Am  I wrong?I hope so because my project list includes removal of the toerail and replacing the pop rivets with bolts.
