[Alberg30] Yanmar 2GM30 Installation

Hi Stephen,
By any chance do you have a picture of your 2GM30 installation? Sounds like
you're saying the rear mounts, suspended by brackets from the engine bed,
are directly under the engine in their designed positions. My measurements
are telling me this arrangment (the reverse of my originally envisaged
solution which has the mounts sitting on a wider-than-engine bed, with the
engine suspended by brackets from them) is impossible. My measurements are
telling me there's no arrangement by which the rear mounts can go under the
engine, since there's no space for a bed under the rear of the engine -- in
fact the mounts, just sitting directly on the hull, would be too high to
allowing the flanges to couple. I can't be visualizing your arrangment
correctly, since you obviously have a functional engine installed, so a
picture if you have one would be very useful. To all other 2GM owners on
this list I would appreciate your contributions if you haven't already
responded. Regards and thanks to all.
Calvin Voyager #30
