Thanks to all.  I went back and checked 
http://www.alberg30.org/boat/numbers.html (which I should have done 
before forwarding that inquiry) and see that 211 and 276 mark the 
boundaries of 1967 as I know it.  It doesn't appear that 261 is out of 
order, after all.
