[Alberg30] A-4 and Propeller

I run a 10x6 three blade which allows a full 2000rpm at max. the speed is
the same but I experence less plug fouling. of course more vibration  I've
often thought of moving the engine forward and installing the reduction
gear. When I rebuild the shaft is when I may do this. The question then is
what wheel at 2/1 ratio?

Hello Fellow Albergers
I am new on this your public-list. I have not sailed in the past 5 years
having had my boat out of the water. But having sailed all my life,
returning to the sea  is not difficult. My brother and my self own each an
Alberg 30. I am asking this question on behalf of my brother.
Question::
His boat has an A-4 and a propeller 2 Blade 13 dia  x 7R pitch. He claims
that his boat is to fast on docking  3.9 knots at 1000 rpm and does not
reach cruising  / hull speed  at normal 80% engine rpm. He thinks that the
previous owner changed the prop and this one is not the right one.
Can some of you A-4 fellows out there just tell me what size/pitch/blade
propellers are your machines running with.
