[Alberg30] winch pedestals

Dear List,

I have only primary winches. They are on the after pedestals where most 
boats have their secondaries. I have fiberglass pedestals. I would like 
to install bigger primaries on forward mounted pedestals (longitudinally 
even with the bridge deck). Do any of you know where I could find some 
winch pedestals to mount there? I have seen the bronze ones that are 
available through Defender. However, another thing I would like to add 
to my boat is a shelf behind the coaming which would double as a seat so 
that I can comfortably sit far enough outboard on the windward side 
going upwind that I can see the jib telltales. I would like this shelf 
to run between the primary and secondary winch pedestals and be secured 
to them with screws. I have seen this arrangement on other boats and it 
seems that the fiberglass pedestals would be better than the bronze ones 
for this kind of installation. What do you think?

I am looking for early model style forward mounted fiberglass winch 
pedestals.

Or an equivalent alternative.

Any ideas?
