[Alberg30] Carine -ning

Hi all,

Has any of you Carined your boat? Carine-ning your boat means beaching your boat with the tides so that you may do bottom work. It is a method known as carine-ning, beaching or "a poor mans launch".

I have done this twice. Once for barnacle cleaning of the boot stripe. The second time for power washing, installing 2 dynaplates for the SSB and a new knotmeter.

I will send a few pictures to George with notes for posting.
