I haven only had the Alberg for 1 season  but I LOVE the hatch . I dont 
see how they would leak. The hatch on our former boat leaked after 
numerous attempts to seal it. Saw an A 30 this year that the clear part 
was varnished and it looked great. Plan to do that before next season.
