I rebuilt a wilcox crittendon that had been out of service for many years.  A little patience was required.  The parts kit was $75 at a marine sanitation store.  I was told that the old systems were made of much better materials but were significantly heavier.  I felt that it was good to have an intimate familiarity with the head before I needed to.   ......
