   Joe,
My A 30 was insured through Hanover with IMIS and they stopped insuring
boats. IMIS got a new Co. American? and the rate went from $220 to $538 for a
$15,000 boat. I have been talking with both Al Golden and Reese Scot at IMIS
and they haven't been able to find a more reasonable insurer. So I have taken
it upon myself to contact Boat US about my A 30 and they have quoted $226 for
about the same package that I had through Hanover/IMIS. I have yet to be
confirmed by Boat US but expect that it will go through OK. To be insured
through Boat US you need to become a member, @ $25/yr.
