James,
We did NOT install a vented loop.
The loop takes up alot of room in an already tight spot. And we keep the
intake closed when the head is not in use.....We have not had any problems.
Ideally, it would be best practice to have a loop...It depends on how you
use the boat.
Good luck with the install

Subject: [Alberg30] Vented Loop
Hello all.
After removing the head and all of the plumbing yesterday I am wondering
if I need to install the vented loop when I put in the new head. If the
intake is in the closed position is there really any need for the loop?
Thanks,
James
