[Alberg30] Cockpit lazarette seats?

My seats (hull 219) are each made up of 2 teak planks, pinned and glued.
Have worked well for 10 years. You could make up the same in plywood, and
glue and pin 1/2 inch edge pieces of wood to hold the hinges and latches
Battens underneath are screwed and glued. Full length piano hinges on each
seat.

A possible source in your area for wood could be
http://www.argentinefinehardwoods.com/ or a local retailer. One of the
owners is my brother-in-law (shameless shilling, I know) but I was out to
Mount Vernon last week for his son's wedding, and got to see lots of wood
samples--and was impressed.
