[Public-list] Keel drain?

First off it is great to have the list back. As owners going into our 
second season we have learned  a lot about the boat just by reading the 
emails.
    What is this about a drain in the keel though. Was this discontinued 
at some point or should all the boats have it. If we have it I would 
like to check it before the boat goes back in the water this year.
