[Public-list] Boom gallows

Peter,

I don't currently have a boom gallows or crutch.  What I *do* have is a 
simple system that keeps the boom from swaying back and forth.  I take 
the traveler to one side and take another line from the end of the boom 
to the other end of the traveler.  Between this line, the mainsheet, and 
the topping lift, the boom stays put and doesn't swing wildly just over 
my head.
