Todd,
Are you telling us that the picture of the boat with the pilot house is an
Alberg 30? Wow! Mine tends to sit a little low in the stern, with all of
that structure on that boat (if it is an A30) the exhaust must be under
water!!!

Subject: [Public-list] Photos - Deck Beam, Water Tank

Hello All,
I have posted a couple of photo's to my web space. One of Strathgowan as
she sits today. A couple of photo's of a deck beam on an A30 that I saw a
couple of weeks ago at the 40 year celebration in Whitby, Ontario - put on
by the Great Lakes Alberg Ass. Also a couple of photo's of my new water
tank access hatch. Also check out the slimey insides - no wonder our water
tasted bad. You can see the cracks that I have going down the centre line
of the tank. I suspect that water is entering the tank through these. This
fall I will clean and widen the cracks, then fill them with epoxy. I will
also check out the stainless strip that is attached the the front of the
hull on the outside as I suspect, from what others have said here, that it
maybe the source of my problem.
For all the little faults - she is still a lovely boat!
Todd
