[Public-list] Boom gallows

George,had too many times in pitch black nights swaying around on the boom
clawing down the main over mile deep water hoping the toping lift has not
chaffed.You may have noticed any thread I start is related to safety comfort
and reliability not  squeezing out the last half knot of speed.The aft end
of the cockpit would seem to be the logical place for a cruiser.I shall send
an email to Rob Alley,no point in reinventing the wheel if he has a
succesful system.
