[Public-list] cutless bearing

I will be hauling my boat soon to replace the stuffing box hose and cutless bearing.
 
Anemone is a 1966 A30 with an Atomic 4.
 
The plan is to use a good quality wet exhaust hose on the stuffing box and the 7/8" 
cutless bearing from the West Marine catalog.
 
I wold appreciate comments and suggestions from anyone who has taken on
this project.
