[Public-list] Warning to Mariners?

Yeah, that's what I thought until a friend lost his son in the Twin 
Towers on 9/11.  Its not a good idea to discuss political stuff here.  
My boat is my respite from a sometimes mad chaotic world with many 
things happening that I don't fully understand, can't control and am 
neither smart or powerful enough to change.  If some of you folks are 
so deep and influential that global events and irresolvable conflicts  
are as familiar and understandable as the interior of your lazarettes 
and workings of Atomic 4's , then perhaps this is not the proper venue 
for your insight and clever bon mots.
