I should have mentioned Tait Tait was repowered with a diesel about six
years.The object of the exercise is to inspect closely for crevace corrosion
where the shaft  passes through the cutless bearing.I thought I saw
something suspicious on the shaft when I fixed a leak there last year.May
have been just a stain but I would like to be sure. Peter Amos Tait Tait
