Very true, but even if you glassed over the hole, it would be relatively 
easy to cut that glass out, again.  Just be *very sure* not to lose any 
parts removed from the boat.  I don't know where you'd find replacements.

Yves Gelinas removed his engine.  You might ask him for advice.
