[Public-list] Bilge Drain

Hey,
To follow up on the bilge/sand/drain hole conversation, on my boat 
#307, there is a drain hole in the bilge.  This is great for winter, 
but I am afraid that if it isn't plugged,  I will over work my bilge 
pump.  What size and what material is this plug supposed to be?  It 
appears to be about 3/4".  Any information about your drain plugs would 
be appreciated. Thanks,
