[Public-list] Buying an Alberg

I will attempt to race - it's been a while, and I do believe I need a new
main sail. I probably will ask for help when I attempt to fix the mast
beam.

Congratulations,

Now, to start ...
http://www.alberg30.org/maintenance/disorganized/deckbeam/repair.html
Go to the above & contact Washington Aluminum & order the deckbeam parts.
Then get 6 1/4 inch stainless steel bolts with locking hex nuts in (I
believe 6 inch lengths) Get fender washers for both sides. from Chesapeake
Marine Fasteners.

The bolt configurations & numbers vary so measure 2 times cut once.

Once you have the plates contact the list & the boat let us know. Somce
one will have the time & energy to go over the process with you to do the
job. If you cannot do the job, there are some on the list who will for
you. For a modest fee.

Also do you think you will race?
And will you need any sails?
