Since I will be *o-l-l-d-d* and retired when I finally get my Alberg 30 (or
35, (and not terribly rich either: I have children!) I have been wondering
if I want roller furling on the jib of my yet-to-be-purchased boat. I'll be
cruising, not racing.

I wondered if anyone has tried downhals on hanked-on jibs and can compare
them to the ease of dousing the jib with furling gear (until it gets stiff
or breaks, that is. . . . )

Many thanks
