	Looking at "Jean du sud", at
http://www.capehorn.com/sections/30%20ans/30ansAng.htm, the picture of the
bow (about half way down the page), I'm wondering if the two forestays are
set one in front of the other, rather than side by side? It almost appears
as if the furler drum is something close to a foot aft of the tip of the
stem.  Or is that simply my poor eyesight?
