The original builder's plates were, as far as I know, aluminum instead
of brass. See http://www.alberg30.org/store/BuildersPlate.html for a
picture. Note that the beginning 30 is the length. The 6 following
that says it was made in the 1960's. The interesting numbers are the
ones following.
