As for ideas re: storage space at the original cooler area. How about 2  
vertical aluminum slotted supports, called "standards", and movable aluminum  
shelf supports, called "brackets", to support shelves. These are the same type  of 
shelves in store displays. The brackets come in various modes including with  
screw holes on the ends for securing wood shelves, or with vinyl-coated wire  
shelves. The slotted holes in the standards are on 1 inch centers for any  
spacing of brackets one wants. Trim a wood member to fit the slope of the  aft 
end of the cabin so the standards are near vertical when secured to the wood  
member.
