Gord,
I'm 'round the corner in Penetang - Dutchman's Cove. No slip; winter
there, then cruise 2-3 months full time.
Would that commercial plumbing supplier be St. Amant's, by any chance?
Will be down on April 20/21 to drop off new cushions and other bulky
items before swinging down to Guelph to pick up my daughter from
university. Back in mid-May for much needed project work (and noted
survey) and launch mid-June. Superior, to Thunder Bay, is in the plans.
(Tested Whitefish Bay last year.)
Back on topic, could one mate a bronze thru-hull with a brass ball-valve
with some semblance of expectations of safety/durability?
Cheers
Jack
