[Public-list] Yoke boom vang thingy

That is a common problem. I take it yoy mean the one that has the two metal 
plates and the web strap. It works if you vand to the rail, but if you vang 
to the base of the mast, it tends to slide forward.

Does anybody know how the yoke boom vang works.  I have one and I'll be
damned if I know how it works.  It won't stay put on the boom, it slides
back to the mast.
