[Public-list] Cockpit Locker Leaks and Spinnaker Pole

It sounds to me like your leak is due to a clogged hose, poorly bedded
fitting or a cracked hose either in the drain for the icebox top in the
cockpit (is it draining? Where?) or for the cockpit locker itself. On
219, the icebox top drain hose leads to a T which bisects the hose
running from the froward cockpit locker nose barb to the drain itself
at the lower froward part of the cockpit, near the port cockpit drain.
Water on deck should not drain below.
I would check the following, using a water hose, in daylight (when not
raining!) The damned drains may just be full of leaves!
1. Do the cockpit drains (or their hoses) leak? Are they open?
2. Are the cockpit locker drains open?
3. Is the icebox lid drain open?
4. What is the condition of all hoses, T's, and all other components?
The idea, after all, is simply to replicate your problem with a
waterhose in such a way that you can diagnose a specific cause.
PS: the hose leading to the bilge is probably the drain for the
icebox--either the lower (where the food is) or the upper (where the ice
is). There may be two hoses. There probably shouldn't be a hole
anywhere you can see, and it certainly shouldn't drain on to the sole
Good Luck, and welcome aboard--
