[Public-list] thx for chainplate info and advice, and some thoughts on winter covers

Don, I live in Maine. Current daytime temps in the 30s, night temps in 20s
(degrees F). I'm currently working on the boat (in those daytime temps), and
will be closing on a new property in a few weeks and would like to move the
boat to it. I note that you won't walk on your boat unless the temps are in
the 40s. What are your requirements for moving the boat? What are the "rules
of thumb" used by other Albergers re: working on and/or moving their boats
