Jonathan ....... Very pleased to have you back in "the traditional camp." It 
would be my opinion that they would take that bend easy enough considering 
their length. I have not yet had mine off.  The last time I finished them I 
did it with them on the boat.  I recall removing the screws which I thought 
would release them and they did not seem to want to come off. Now after 
following some of the comments on this list I believe I will give it another 
try.

I would be open to suggestions on how to get them to release after the 
screws have been removed. I guess it is the sealant that is holding them. 
Maybe I could heat up a stiff putty knife in boiling water and try to work 
it between the board and glass.
Start at one end and work toward the other.
