[Public-list] Mast Wiring

I read an article about an owner covering all of his internal mast 
wiring in a foam tube, like might be used for insulating hot water 
supply pipes.   He taped the soft foam over the wiring and it 
eliminated any internal noise...then of course, there  are the singing 
halyards!
