Bob,

I have what beleive is a 14 gallon tank in the stb'd cockpit settee 
locker, no problem. It has a mechanical float type gas gage. Access to 
the back of the engine control panel is not great, but it is workable. 
The tank sits in a wood frame. I've never taken the assembly apart to 
see how it is secured to the hull, but it's strong.

Don't forget to use condutive gas line that is made for connecting the 
deck mounted filler to the tank. This past season I found that that hose 
was quite deteriorated, by the way, and replaced it. I also have a 
copper wire runnning from the deck fitting to the tank. Static 
electricity is a serious explosion hazard with gasoline...
