If you have a square block; then I would trace the curve onto the edge of
the block; then cut it using a bandsaw; then cut out the circle.

Subject: [Public-list] Mast Fairing Blocks
Date: Fri, 18 Feb 2005 15:25:59 -0500
I want to make some mast fairing blocks for the winch and the
footblocks. I have the teak, an accurate template, and understand that
I need to use the template to mark the line that needs to cut.
My question: what sort of tool does one use to cut the wood - and how
does one do it so it is accurate and will fit the mast? The curvature of
the line to be cut is the problem.
Thanks.
