[Public-list] Wet bilge

I always have some water ln the bilge that the pumps cannot clear,about 3/4 inch.It comes from the shaft packing gland.No problem,just an irritation.Has anyone invented a way to keep the bilge dry other than a dripless seal on the shaft.
