In case anyone missed this in the Mainsheet, here are the details of the party this weekend:
 
Commodore’s Champagne Party and Summer Maxi Cruise Kickoff
 

The Commodore’s Champagne party is typically the kickoff for the Summer Maxi Cruise, and this year will be the same.  What’s different this year is the party will be moved back aboard the boats rafted up in the West River.  The anchor boat “Star” will drop hook right off the docks of Pirates Cove Restaurant located in Galesville where we will hold the champagne party, have dinner, and then spend the night.  The following morning will be a short cruise around the corner to the Rhode River, which is the first destination of the two week Summer Maxi Cruise, which will be hosted by Jim and Sandy Davis.  Can’t make it by boat?  No problem.  Just go to the end of the dock and hail the raft for dinghy service, or call 410-353-0075 to get a ride.  For those who don’t like climbing in and out of a dinghy, we will also have a boat in a slip at the restaurant’s dock that will depart for the party at 4:00, and bring you safely back later for dinner.  Dinner will be at the restaurant starting at
 6:00.   The restaurant will try to seat us all in the same area but could not make reservations for a large crowd.  If you can’t make the maxi cruise, this would make a great 3-day cruise get away.  A cruise to Galesville on Saturday, a whole day and evening at Rhode River on Sunday, and then home again on Monday.  What could be better than that, other than doing the whole cruise?
