One other suggestion regarding the prop zinc.  When you fit it on the 
bronze prop nut,  give it a light tap with a hammer to seat the zinc. 
There are usually some casting ridges on the inside of the zinc that 
prevent a tight fit.  When the ridges quickly wear away  the zinc and 
attachment screw become loose and can disappear when motoring.
