Bob,
I would love to get a copy of the handout from Jack Horner, especially
the lines. I'm sure that many others would also. Would it be possible
to send a copy to George to be put on the website?

Mike & Roger... Jack Horner, surveyor & former A30 owner gave a winter
seminar a few years ago where he passed out a set of linbes, stability
calculations, & polar plot for the A30. I don't know where he got them,
but he's also a marine archetect so I guess he made them himself. (I
can
fax you a set of the handouts if you'd like. Anyway, he shows the
Lateral
Center of Buoyancy 16.1 feet aft of the bow.
For info, he also calculates:
Max GZ 1.352 ft @ 60 degrees
Prismatic Coeff 395/384
SA/Disp 15.2/15.4
Beam/length .29
Ballast/disp .37/.38
Comfort ratio .32/.31
Pounds/in immer 676
Moment to trim 1deg 775lbs
Righting Mom @1deg 405 lbs
Wetted Sfc area 204 Sq ft
Hope those numbers mean something to you.
