Pete - My coamings were in bad shape - flaking old varnish and lots of
crevices and erosion. I sanded them down and coated with Armada at Mike
Lehman's suggestion. I think it's a nice honey color on the mahogany. I've
got a recent picture, but this list strips images, so if you'd like to see

Re Cetol:

I hated the color of Cetol Marine, but Cetol Marine
Lite was OK.  Not as pretty as varnish.

I haven't used or seen Armada.  If it is like Cetol
only without the orange color it might be nice.

Re varnish over epoxy:

I have used it on Okume ply and the results were
beautiful and durable.  I wonder how it would be if it
needed to be stripped, epoxy is hard stuff.

I also was unsure about how well it work with teak.  I
kind of figured it might be a problem since I never
hear of folks doing it.
