and raise it up to clear the hatch.

Where does the sea hood mount onto the Alberg? Can I place spacers under the

I have a sea hood but it is original equipment with hull #505. A few years
back I routed out all of the plywood insert in the hatch (we also have a
fiberglass hatch with an insert - newer style boat)and replaced it with
strips of solid teak. I made the teak about 1/8" proud, so then it scraped
the sea hood (not a good thing). So I removed the sea hood and placed a 1/8"

spacer between the sea hood and the deck so the new hatch could clear. You
could do the same thing.

I see that Read has two sea hoods for sale. #114 has a new main hatch which
is higher than the Whitby. Does anyone have one installed that provide the
height from cabin base to the inside of the sea hood?
