Hi there -
Ottawa is a long way from Kingston!
Yes you can sail her from anywhere on Erie to Kingston...you should plan on
a week long trip, but I would say that the season for yachts making long
trips like that is over for this year.
The best way to move a yacht is by using a professional yacht mover like
Balsden or one of the others. A pro will have insurance and a hydraulic
truck that can pick up the boat and set her down again in her cradle at the
yard. Don't worry about putting her back in the water - once in Kingston
she should be tarped up for the winter.
If the owner is in Ottawa, that is another two hours or so up the highway,
but the same scenerio would be appropriate.
