[Public-list] diesel mechanic

a friend has a older boat in oxford maryland. he has been told he needs to rebuild his diesel and thinks he wants to do it himself. he was wondering if any chesapeake albergers know of a mechanic in the area that would be available for consultation as he progresses. i think he he meant as a paid advisor
if anyone has any knowledge of such i would appreciate it. can take it offline if you like
