> Yes I did use SS nuts with nylon inserts, in fact I have
replaced every nut in the boat with this type including
adding nuts to the deck hull connection bolts that had no
nuts installed.  I was surprised when I noticed that whitby
boat works just used tapping bolts to secure the 2 halves
together except at the genoa track.
