Eddie,

The molding is attached to the coaming the molding does not have to be
removed. There is a bolt on the inside of the cabin that holds the forward
edge of the coaming to the cabin/boat that may have been missed.

OK, I have removed all of the bolts that hold the coamings to the fiberglass
substructure of the coaming. The coaming won't budge. Is it necessary to
remove the quarter-round that is at the base of the coaming in the exterior?
Or is the quarter-round only screwed to the coaming for looks and to furnish
more surface area for caulking? Thanks. Ed. Schroeder #303 Emotional Rescue.
(Perhaps the coaming is held on with a "dogbone"?)
