will come up to a stop then lower the anchor correctly pay
out rode and then let the boat drift back untill it stops. 
In my estination the anchor is not set just sitting on the
bottom, in normal conditions this may be O.K but not with a
riding sail or with expected winds.  I my method of setting
the 25lb CQR or my 10Kg Bruce is as follows.  After
determining the depth of water including any tide from
stemhead to bottom I lower the anchor then I m in idle
reverse pay out about 50% of the rode keeping a little
tention on tle line so the boat does not turn sideways.  At
this point I snud the line to set the anchor initially, when
the boat has stopped I pay uot the remaining rode under a
little tention.  At the correct 7:1 minimum scope I cleat
off the rode and when the boat has stopped I slowly increase
RPM to about 2000 and watch for any drifting if none I shut
down and relax but keep a look out for the next hour for any
driting.  I h
