Don Casey's book, "This Old Boat", has a description of the process as
described by Mike, complete with sketches of how to do it. It also goes into
re-attaching the driveshaft and lining it up properly when done.

The book looks like a great investment. Chapters sells it, and I'm presuming
dealers in the U.S. must have it too.
