I agree - 

Any track you buy will comfortably take the gentle curve that follows the
deck crown back there.  Use bolts longer than required and let the nuts pull
the track down as you tighten them up.

I have a old Nicro Fico traveler that will be going into our boat some day
when I have the time to do the job.  Not likely this year as this season is
going to be a short one - I am heading out for a stint with the Navy.
