[Public-list] Masthead Sheave

Mike,

Good point. I pulled the measurements of a blueprint on the website
that shows a 1/2" hole. There is another set of measurements in the
maintenance section that shows photos of an aluminum sheave with a
5/8ths hole, which is confirmed by your measurements.

Unless there is outcry, I will change the spec to 5/8 holes (this seems
to be the more-correct spec). If there are any 1/2 inch bolts out
there, they could be retrofitted by just drilling out the hole 1/8
larger and replacing the bolt.

Andrew

>>Andrew,

>>I have 2 sheaves at home. 1. really old, phenolic, from and older A30,
and

Both

showing any

I
>>believe the center axel is 5/8". I still want 2 of the new ones, but
how did
>>you come up with the .5" center hole? Can you double check that? All
of the
>>other dimensions are good.
