I can understand the time crunch. But looking at your itinerary:
Reedville
Crisfield / Tangier Island
Solomans Island
Annapolis
Sassafras River
Chesapeake City
It seems you're mostly hitting places you could get to by car. In my
mind, the bulk of cruising the Chesapeake is the gunkholing, not the
towns. I would rather anchor up the Rhode River than hire a mooring in
Annapolis, for example. I think your definition of "a taste of the
whole bay" is mostly one flavor.
