Allen,

I would recommend New England Rope Sta Set X for halyards. If I remember
correctly it is either 3/8 or 7/16, 80 feet for each should be fine. It will
give you enough to do the eye spice.

I'm finally going to install the new mast head allowing me to go with all  
rope halyards.
Does someone know what the diameter and lenght might be?
